    About Beatnik Studios:

Beatnik started as a photography cooperative and in 2014, they purchased 723 S Street in Sacramento. The 5000+ square foot main space is jaw dropping. With 25 - 30 foot tall ceilings, and tons of skylights, the building truly caters to a wild imagination. The building sits 2 blocks north of Southside Park on the West end of Sacramento's most talked about R street District.

    Wes Davis - Owner

Wes Davis is an artist, gallery owner and freelance photographer. Shortly after receiving a BA in Photography from California State University of Sacramento, his career as a professional photographer and creative consultant was ignited with the opening of Beatnik Studios in 2008. Beatnik Studios has grown to become Sacramento's premier photography studio, art gallery and event space; and has provided a training ground for Wes' diverse set of skills. Wes has developed Beatnik Studios into the best gallery in Sacramento for seeing exciting contemporary artists first. Thanks to the direction of Wes Davis, the gallery is now a favorite among artists, and collectors. Wes Davis lives and works in Sacramento, CA. He is a member of the R street partnership and an advocate for a more creative city.
